In light of recent events, I am taking this opportunity to apologize for all the nasty things I have said to and about leftist liberals. Seeing my own angst being mirrored back to me has given me reason to re-evaluate my own hatefulness and make the necessary adjustments. While I still do not care for their unrealistic points of view, their outlandish and very childish behavior, their self entitlement and their overall insane freeze dried BULL S***. I do care about them as human beings. Whatever their political standings... just knowing people, human beings, were hurt or killed like this has saddened me to my very core. I am not quite sure why this particular event has touched me so deeply as it has. I only know that it has. This is not to say the other mass shootings didn't affect me. Because they did. But not like this. Maybe it's because my soul has finally reached it's quota of the pain that is inflicted on a daily basis and is now seeking...

​ Okay, so I'm going to weigh in on this whole NFL thing. Look, these guys have a right to voice their opinion. Yes! Whether or not you agree with them, they still have a right to express their opinion. No matter how wrong it may or may not be. Do I like their opinion? No I DO NOT! However, I do respect their rights to have one. And I respect their rights to express said opinions. Will I stop watching NFL games? Well, to be fair, I haven't watched a game in over 10 years. Reason being, I don't have anyone to watch it with and it's boring watching it alone. And besides, I don't own a TV any more. I don't do sports bars and all my close friends live out of state. ​​ Another reason I stopped watching and won't watch any more, it scares my cats when they see mommy throwing food at the TV and screaming YOU F'ING IDIOT! One of the most important lessons I've learned as a mother is acceptance.   It isn't easy accepting opinions that you weren't/aren't good enough.  Especially when those particular opinions come from your offspring.  But if you're honest with yourself, you will accept it and move on.  Which I have.   I'll be the first to admit that I was not the greatest mother who ever lived.  Wasn't the worst either.  But still wasn't the best.  And guess what?  I ... don't ... CARE!  I did the best I could at the time. If that wasn't/isn't good enough for my hell spawn or my family or friends, etc. Then so be it.  I own my mistakes.  Take responsibility for them.   I do not offer up any excuses or attempts to justify myself.  I accept all that I did, didn't do, say, didn't say.   In the end...the only opinions that matter are mine and  that of my Creators.   Everyone else's opinions are just background noise.  ...

HAD to share this with all of you.  It's a true story!  Happened yesterday (Wednesday 12/14/16) here in Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville Metro Solid Waste workers paid a visit to Wheatley Elementary School yesterday.  Kids love those big orange garbage trucks folks!  No lie!  Now why did they show up?  Because they care.  Do we really need any other reason than that?  Seriously!  And folks...it was COLD out there (still is)!  But the crews showed up...for the kids!   Pretty cool, eh?  (No pun intended *LOL*) The school received an email from a parent after the event which I am sharing below...      Today was an experience that I will never forget.  When I turned the corner onto the school's street, I was in shock.  I had absolutely no idea what was going on.  I was thinking, are they working on the street?  What is going on?  They were all honking their horns and smiling and looking...
