Stages of The Awakening Process: Part 1

Your awakening process isn’t just about becoming consciously aware -- it's about growing up and maturing as well.    For many, this doesn’t always  go hand in hand.   There are those who believe that just  being  aware is enough.   It isn’t .     There are those who believe that if they repeat certain “catch phrases” this will magically and automatically turn them into a full grown and matured awaken individual.   It doesn’t .   There are those who believe that if they hold on to the ways and teachings of those that came before them … this too will make them more awake, more aware and make them  mature, complete and whole.  That is more than enough   It isn't. These are only a small part of your spiritual maturity -- the first steps towards your spiritual growth, if you will.  Your spiritual awakening is much like your physical growing process.  You...

Communicate, Appreciate and Validate All Those In Your Life

Image
Well folks, it's that time a year again!  And for those new to this little exercise, here's a little FYI:  It all started back when psychic medium John Edward was doing his TV show Crossing Over.  At the end of the show his parting words were take time to Communicate, Appreciate and Validate those in your life.  He said other stuff after that, but I don't remember what it was.  *BIG Smile*    But the phrase Communicate, Appreciate and Validate is the catch phrase from psychic medium John Edward.  So here's a little ™  and a HUGE Thanks to Johnny!   At any rate, that catch phrase really struck a chord with me.  In fact, it is the inspiration and motivation behind this blog and all those other blogs and posts on various social network I've done over the years.   And too, I always make a new sig tag for the occasion.  Like the one you'll see at the end of this blog.   Now the reason for me doing this is partly for my...

"Stop twerking, start working!" A Very Timely message from Louisville Pastor Kevin Cosby

Image
Pastor Kevin Cosby.  You're  not going to  find his influence in any of the local Ferguson protests.  But you will find him here in Louisville, Kentucky inspiring and motivating! "I'm not marching over hands up -- don't shoot!' because we're the ones doing the shooting," Cosby shouted in one of his sermons  "But I will march if you change it from 'Hands up -- don't shoot!' to 'Books open -- don't flunk!'"   [emphasis added] Click HERE to Read the Story in it's entirety. From the PAY IT FORWARD FILES: The Case of the Alabama Cop and The Shoplifting Grandma

With all this hatred the media and selected government officials and their chosen spokes bastards keep dishing out, it's always a wonderfully breath of fresh air to hear some good news.  Especially when it involves ordinary citizens and local police. This guy really knows how to Pay It Forward! Tarrant police Officer William Stacy chose to help the woman instead of arresting her because 'sometimes the best route is to not arrest,' he said. Stacy's heartwarming encounter with 47-year-old Helen Johnson was captured on video, going viral as her tale of feeding a family of six on little money has hit home. READ MORE

Giving Thanks~It's Not Just For Turkeys! "OR" I'm Thankful To Be ME and Not Somebody Else cause then I wouldn't be ME and THAT would REALLY SUCK!!!!

Image
Today, I will share with you a few of the things I am thankful for.  These things come from my Things I am Thankful For list.  Which I do daily.   Why?  Because every day is a day of giving thanks.  Yea, laugh and mock if you will. I know how corny it sounds.  But it's my personal belief, my way of life and how I roll.   That's my story and I'm sticking to it. So why make a list?   Helps me from leaving anything out for starters.  More importantly, it puts things in perspective.   Having a literal list allows me to actually see how much there is to be thankful for.    Speaking of which, there is so much we all take for granted.  So much we don't even think about because we're so use to having it around.  You know like running water, indoor plumbing, electricity; having a stove and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker.  A bed, a pillow, sheets and blankets.  To name a few.      And yes! ...

Being Yourself ~ A Beautiful Message from Bob Proctor

Image
If you want to succeed you must be different from the masses. Be yourself. Do not be afraid to assert your true personality. Don't ever forget that you are a unique individual. As soon as you tow the line, you are denying your true personality and virtually denying yourself the opportunity to grow. Although society, in general has done an excellent job of turning most of us into clones by eliminating difference and nipping our personal aspirations in the bud, a tiny inner voice nevertheless survives within each of us. Timid and worried, it whispers to us that our public images are false, that our genuine personalities are hidden and unexpressed. Frustration, sadness, and in some cases, a feeling of being dead inside, are some of the disadvantages we heap upon ourselves. The fear of being different and the need to conform are false and destructive. It is an acquired concept, not something we were born with. Here are five powerful affirmations. Read these affirmations aloud ...

BILL HAS GONE AND DONE IT AGAIN...

They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English.  I can't even talk the way these people talk:  Why you ain't, Where you is, What he drive, Where he stay, Where he work, Who you be...  And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.      And then I heard the father talk.  Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.   In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.  The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.  These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids.   $500 sneakers for what? And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics? I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing t...
