Acceptance -- A Special Mother's Day Gift For You!

Image
One of the most important lessons I've learned as a mother is acceptance.   It isn't easy accepting opinions that you weren't/aren't good enough.  Especially when those particular opinions come from your offspring.  But if you're honest with yourself, you will accept it and move on.  Which I have.   I'll be the first to admit that I was not the greatest mother who ever lived.  Wasn't the worst either.  But still wasn't the best.  And guess what?  I ... don't ... CARE!  I did the best I could at the time. If that wasn't/isn't good enough for my hell spawn or my family or friends, etc. Then so be it.  I own my mistakes.  Take responsibility for them.   I do not offer up any excuses or attempts to justify myself.  I accept all that I did, didn't do, say, didn't say.   In the end...the only opinions that matter are mine and  that of my Creators.   Everyone else's opinions are just background noise.  ...

Louisville Metro Solid Waste Keeping The Christmas Spirit Alive!

Image
HAD to share this with all of you.  It's a true story!  Happened yesterday (Wednesday 12/14/16) here in Louisville, Kentucky. NaNoWriMo! Ready....Set....WRITE!

Starting on my NaNoWriMo Today!  whoo hooo!   Writing a novel in 30 days!  Haven't done this in a couple of years--kinda rusty.  So here goes NOTHING!  *LOL* A witch killer has come to Louisville.  The first kill.  A coven of four young women,  all in their early twenties, along with their animal familiars are found dead on the banks of the Ohio.  Their throats slit in a manner of a skilled surgeon.  The second kill.  Twelve hours later, a coven devoted to the cat Goddess Bast, and all their familiars, are  found dead.  Their bodies carefully laid out around a statue of Bast the Cat Goddess in the clearing on the Anderson farm on the east side of town. There had been no trace evidence.  The victims had all been killed in another location, cleaned, dressed and then carefully laid out  specifically where they had been found.   It wasn't until the second kill the authorities was provide...
